K33900, K33901 ShareCentral 2 and 5 (for Windows)

Requirements:
Windows® XP or Windows Vista®

Description:
This software enables the Automatic Printer Sharing and File Corruption Protection features of ShareCentral 2 (K33900) and ShareCentral 5 (K33901). Does not apply to ShareCentral 1 (K33903).

Instructions:

1. Right click on the link and select the “Save Target As …”: specify the directory on your disk drive where you want to save the file.
2. Right click on the ZIP file and select "Extract All...". Follow the given instructions to specify where you wish to extract and save the setup files to.
3. Go in the directory you specified in step 2 and launch the setup application by double clicking on the "Setup.exe" file.
4. Follow onscreen instructions and restart computer when prompted to complete installation.

K33900, K33901 ShareCentral 2 and 5 (Mac)

Requirements:
MacOS X (Macbook or Macbook Pro, Powerbook not supported)

Description:
This software enables the File Corruption Protection and Hotkey features of ShareCentral 2 (K33900) and ShareCentral 5 (K33901). Does not apply to ShareCentral 1 (K33903).

Instructions:

1. Click on the link provided. The file will automatically download into your “Downloads” folder
2. Drag and drop the Kensington_Share_Central.app file from the Downloads folder to the Applications folder
3. Double click on the Kensington_Share_Central.app icon to start the program.
4. Optional: To ensure that the file protection feature is active at all times, it is recommended that you add this application to your list of login items by the following procedure:
1. Open System Preferences > Accounts and select the appropriate user account.
2. Select the Login Items
3. Click the + button, browse to the applications folder and select Kensington_Share_Central.app and click Add
4. Repeat the procedure for any other accounts that will use ShareCentral.
